Who it is for

Buyers who prefer the Sony brand and want a Google TV 4K set for a bedroom or small living room.

Who should skip it

Anyone chasing the most listed features per rupee, because the title advertises few headline features.

The Sony BRAVIA 2M2 43 inch 4K Google TV (K-43S22BM2) is listed on Amazon.in with these headline details: Screen size: 43 inch (108 cm); Resolution: 4K Ultra HD; Panel: LED; Platform: Google TV.

The BRAVIA 2M2 series is Sony’s entry 4K LED line with Google TV. Unlike the other 43-inch sets in this guide, the listing title does not advertise HDR formats or speaker power, so the case for it rests largely on the brand and on picture processing that a spec sheet cannot show.

Best suited to: Buyers who prefer the Sony brand and want a Google TV 4K set for a bedroom or small living room. Less suitable for: Anyone chasing the most listed features per rupee, because the title advertises few headline features.

Points in its favour on paper: 4K Ultra HD resolution; Google TV platform is listed; Compact 43-inch size for small rooms. Points to weigh: The listing title names no HDR format, speaker wattage or refresh rate; Check whether any price premium over value brands is justified by the specs you care about; Standard LED panel, not QLED or Mini LED.

Full listed spec sheet: Screen size: 43 inch (108 cm); Resolution: 4K Ultra HD; Panel: LED; Platform: Google TV; Series: BRAVIA 2M2; Model: K-43S22BM2.

Find the HDR formats, speaker output, HDMI ports and warranty on Sony’s own product page, and read independent reviews of this exact series before paying a premium. If you cannot find a reason to prefer it over the other options here, the Xiaomi or Samsung 43-inch sets are the safer shortlist.

Compare the exact model code, HDMI ports and warranty on the manufacturer’s page, and measure your room and viewing distance before choosing a size.

This page summarises listed specifications only and is not a hands-on test, so picture brightness, motion handling and real-world sound are not assessed here.

Editor's verdict

A brand-led choice. On listed headline features it ranks below the Xiaomi and Samsung 43-inch options, so it makes sense mainly if you value Sony and are comfortable with the price after comparing.
