The TCL T6D 55 inch 4K QLED Google TV (55T6D) is listed on Amazon.in with these headline details: Screen size: 55 inch (139 cm); Resolution: 4K Ultra HD; Panel: QLED; HDR: HDR10+, Dolby Vision.

TCL’s T6D lists a feature set that is uncommon for a 55-inch Google TV: QLED colour, Dolby Vision for HDR, Dolby Atmos audio support and 30W speaker output. It is the one set here that ticks all of those boxes in its listing.

Best suited to: Buyers who want a QLED set with Dolby Vision and Atmos support at 55 inches for movies and streaming. Less suitable for: Buyers who want Mini LED-style local dimming, because this listing does not mention it.

Points in its favour on paper: QLED panel is listed; Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are listed; HDR10+ is listed. Points to weigh: Local dimming and refresh rate are not stated in the listing title; 55 inches can feel small in a large living room; Dolby Atmos through built-in speakers is limited by the speaker hardware, and a soundbar helps.

Full listed spec sheet: Screen size: 55 inch (139 cm); Resolution: 4K Ultra HD; Panel: QLED; HDR: HDR10+, Dolby Vision; Audio: Dolby Atmos, 30W output; Platform: Google TV; Gaming: Game Master (listed); Model: 55T6D.

Check the refresh rate and HDMI specification if you game, the number of HDMI ports, and the warranty terms. Read at least one independent review of the 55T6D for brightness and reflections, since a QLED label alone does not guarantee performance in a bright room.

Compare the exact model code, HDMI ports and warranty on the manufacturer’s page, and measure your room and viewing distance before choosing a size.

This page summarises listed specifications only and is not a hands-on test, so picture brightness, motion handling and real-world sound are not assessed here.

Editor's verdict

A well-rounded 55-inch for movie and streaming households. It lists both Dolby Vision and Atmos plus a QLED panel, so it ranks just behind the Xiaomi FX on picture technology and ahead of the Samsung Crystal UHD on HDR format support.
