DealCompass takes part in the Amazon Associates programme for Amazon.in. This page explains in plain words what that means for you and for what you read on this site.
How it works
- Links on DealCompass that send you to Amazon.in, such as the buttons “View on Amazon” and “Check price”, are affiliate links.
- If you click one and then buy a qualifying product on Amazon.in, Amazon may pay DealCompass a commission.
- The commission is paid by Amazon, out of its own revenue. You pay the same price whether or not you use our link.
- Commission is not guaranteed. It depends on Amazon’s programme rules, and orders that are cancelled or returned may not earn anything.
- In the page code, we mark these links as sponsored so search engines understand that they are paid links.
What this means for our content
- Commission rates do not decide which products we pick or how we rank them. Our process is described in our editorial policy.
- We only cover products that are listed on Amazon.in, because that is where our links go. Good products sold elsewhere are not covered.
- We do not take payment from brands or sellers for coverage. If that ever changes, we will label the page clearly.
- Amazon does not review or approve our articles, and it does not endorse DealCompass.
What we can and cannot see
Amazon gives us summary reports showing how many people clicked our links, how many items were ordered and what we earned. We do not see your name, address, contact details, payment details or account. We cannot see what else you buy on Amazon.
If you accept analytics cookies, our analytics tool may record that you clicked a link to Amazon from a page on our site. It does not record what you buy. See our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Prices and availability
Prices, offers and stock on Amazon change often and can end without notice. Where we show a price, it comes from Amazon and carries the time it was last updated. Otherwise our buttons say “Check price on Amazon”. The price shown on Amazon when you buy is the one that applies.
We are not Amazon
DealCompass does not sell products, take orders, process payments or deliver goods. When you buy, you are buying from Amazon or a seller on Amazon.in. Questions about an order, delivery, return, refund, warranty or invoice should go to Amazon or the seller, not to us. We cannot see or change your orders.

How we share links elsewhere
When we share guides by email, messaging apps or social media, the links point to pages on dealcompass.in, not directly to Amazon.
