This disclaimer applies to everything on dealcompass.in. Please read it together with our terms of use.
General information only
DealCompass publishes buying guides and product pages to help shoppers in India compare products. Our content is general information. It is not professional advice and it does not take your personal needs, budget, home or health into account. Please make your own decision before you buy.
Not tested unless we say so
Unless a page clearly says that we used a product ourselves, we have not tested it. Our guides are based on features and specifications listed by sellers and manufacturers, which we compare and explain. When a page says a feature is “listed”, it means the listing states it, and we have not confirmed it ourselves. Our editorial policy explains how we work.
Accuracy
We work hard to be accurate, but specifications, models, features, colours, warranty terms and accessories change often, and listings can differ from what is delivered. Some models are renamed, replaced or discontinued without notice. Check the full details on the Amazon listing, and the manufacturer’s website, before you order. If you find an error, please tell us at dealcompassindia@gmail.com.
Prices and availability
Prices, discounts, offers, delivery dates and stock on Amazon change often, particularly during festive sales, and may differ by location, seller and account. Where we show a price, it comes from Amazon and carries the time it was last updated, and it may have changed by the time you see it. Otherwise our buttons say “Check price on Amazon”. The price shown on Amazon when you buy is the one that applies. A guide titled with a budget, such as “under ₹40,000”, reflects our judgement when we wrote it and does not promise that every product is within that budget on the day you read it.
Safety, baby, health and personal care products
For electrical and gas appliances, please follow the manufacturer’s instructions and have installation done by a qualified person. For baby and kids products, check the age range, safety certification and instructions on the product. For personal care and health-related devices, such as massagers, trimmers, skin devices or fitness equipment, our content is not medical advice. Please speak to a doctor or other qualified professional if you have a health condition, are pregnant, use a medical implant or are unsure whether a product is safe for you.
Our relationship with Amazon and sellers
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon.in on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy. DealCompass is an independent website. Amazon does not own, run, review or endorse it. We do not sell products or handle orders, payments, delivery, returns, refunds or warranties. Those are handled by Amazon or the seller. See our affiliate disclosure.
Third-party content and links
We link to other websites, mainly Amazon.in. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, prices or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of the site or its seller.
Trademarks and images
Product names, brand names and logos belong to their owners. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. We use brand names only to identify products. Images on this site are our own, or are used with permission, or are supplied through Amazon’s official tools, and they remain the property of their owners.
